Laura L. Hunt

Received her BA in Physiology/Cell Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1981. She graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1985, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. In June of 1987 she graduated from University of California at San Francisco, School of Dentistry receiving a Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry. She continued her studies at UCSF, School of Dentistry receiving her certificate in Orthodontics in June 1989.  Dr. Hunt was a Dean's List Scholar at UCSB the entire time she studied there, and graduated with High Honors. She received an Outstanding Service Award from UCLA.


Randy Alexander

Received an AB degree from Duke University in 1967. He graduated from St. Louis University Dental School in 1970. He graduated summa cum laude, he was class president and Recipient of Alpha Omega Scholarship Award. Dr. Alexander received a master's degree from St. Louis University Orthodontic School in 1972. Randy Alexander is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Alexander is well-versed in all aspects of orthodontics including invisalign, Functional Jaw Orthopedics and TMJ Disorders.


Valeria Poggio

Dr. Poggio received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1991 from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She earned a Master of Science (M.S.) and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Detroit-Mercy, School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Poggio was previously employed at the Lawrence F. Andrews Foundation for Orthodontic Education and Research in San Diego. Dr. Poggio is fluent in the Spanish and English language. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Asociacion Odontologica Argentina.
